The culinary talent of Hinsdale's Yanni Sanchez, executive chef at Cine restaurant, was highlighted at a gourmet fundraiser hosted in September by the American Liver Foundation and her Mexican/French fusion cuisine took center stage.
Chef Yanni joined dozens of noted chefs throughout Chicago at Flavors: A Culinary Experience at Galleria Marchetti where each chef was tasked with preparing a signature five-course gourmet meal table side. The Cine chef distinguished herself by using French technique to craft Mexican ingredients into beautifully presented and authentic dishes. The event raised over $165,000 for the non-profit organization.
Cine is part of the Hip Dining Group family of restaurants which include Il Poggiolo and nabuki, both located in Downtown Hinsdale.
