Hinsdale D-181 Students Raise $15K For Ukraine

The six girls made and delivered more than 400 bracelets as part of the effort.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Six students from Walker Elementary School in Clarendon Hills raised $15,000 for Ukraine relief efforts.

On Monday, they made and delivered 430 handmade yellow and blue Rainbow Loom bracelets as part of a fundraiser.

When Rainbow Loom heard about the effort, it contributed $2,000.

"We are so proud of our Walker students and their inspirational efforts to help those in need," Walker Principal Eric Chisausky said in a statement.
