Hinsdale Farmers Market Kicks Off Next Month

Hinsdale Farmers Market will be kick off on Monday, June 5.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Farmers Market will kick off the 2017 season on Monday, June 5. The market, which would founded in 1977, will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Burlington Park.

The Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce said the market brings over 25 Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin farmers and small food vendors to Hinsdale. Farm tables at this market are loaded with the region's freshest in-season fruits and vegetables, eggs, honey, ciders, cheeses, Mirai corn, meats and poultry, jams, preserves, cut flowers and nursery stock. Local food artisans bring coffee, prepared foods and other goodies.

According to a release, the chamber is also accepting applications for vendors wishing to sell handcrafted items.

Returning vendors this year include: Evergreen Farms, Nichols Farm & Orchard, K&K Farms, Olives 4 You, CRIA, The Cheese People, JW Morlock & Girls, Spice It Up!, Farmer Nick's, Azteca Catering, John's Sharpening Service, Gandi the Juice Guru, and The Eating Well.
