Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club Raises Over $275,000 for Nonprofit
The Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club recently presented HCS Family Services with $275,000 that the club had raised throughout the past year.

HINSDALE, IL - The Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club recently presented HCS Family Services with $275,000 that the club had raised throughout the past year.
At its end-of-the-year gathering on May 4, Megan Hickman, president of HJWC and Irene Wood, Amore Benefit Chair, presented the funds to HCS Family Services. HCS Family Services is a nonprofit that serves the residents of southeast DuPage county, and aims to prevent homelessness and food insecurity.
The club said this amount is an all-time fundraising record.

According to a release, the Philanthropy Committee also raised $12,000 in additional donations that will be dispersed to various local non-profit organizations.
The International Committee was also able to contribute to a college scholarship for a girl in India and support the building of a playground in Africa. They continue their fundraising, and are currently just under $4,000.
