Hinsdale Man Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops
Another man was arrested on a DuPage County warrant, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – A Hinsdale man was charged with domestic battery last week after an incident at his house, police said.
John C. McGann, 27, made contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with a family member, according to a police report. It happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Adams Street, police said.
He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Also last week, Hinsdale resident James M. Meyer, 36, was arrested on a DuPage County warrant.
Police said they conducted a consensual pedestrian stop while Meyer was walking on the sidewalk shortly before noon July 26 near York Road and Minneola Street.

Meyer, who lives in the 400 block of South Lincoln Street, was in possession of a substance in plastic baggies that field-tested positive for fentanyl, police said. He was charged with heroin possession in 2021.
He was taken to the DuPage County Jail for the warrant. The drug charge is pending, police said.
