Hinsdale Shopper's Wallet Stolen: Police

The theft happened during the middle of the day, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – A woman's wallet was stolen last week while she was shopping at the local Whole Foods Market, 500 E. Ogden Ave., police said.

Valued at $200, the wallet contained $180 in cash, gift cards and credit cards, police said. The theft happened shortly before noon Saturday.

The victim was notified of a fraudulent transaction on one of her credit cards at a store in Hodgkins, according to a police report.
