Holiday Traditions Served Family Style at Il Poggiolo

Holiday traditions are celebrated with families at Hinsdale’s Il Poggiolo Ristorante and will include breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 15 and an early seating on New Year’s Eve with a lively countdown for kids.

A festive holiday breakfast is served every Saturday and Sunday through December from 9-2:30PM.  The breakfast menu is a la carte and features items such as Caprese Benedict, Quattro Formaggi and the Poggiolo Skillet.  On Sunday, December 15, children are invited to visit with Santa during breakfast from 11-1PM, take a photo with him by the tree and receive a small gift.

For New Year's Eve, a reservations-only early dinner package is offered at 5PM on Tuesday, December 31 and features a boisterous countdown for kids.  The menu features a four-course holiday menu with a first course soup or salad, a second-course of  two pasta choices, a selection of two entrées, plus dessert for $40 per adult excluding tax and gratuity.  The children’s menu features a selection of popular favorites from the children’s menu plus beverage and dessert and party favors.  It is priced at $20 per child (12 and under) plus tax and gratuity. The countdown for kids is at 7PM.

For dinner guests with a later bedtime, the restaurant will offer open seating on New Year’s Eve beginning at 7:30PM featuring its regular menu in addition to holiday specials of the chef.  A complimentary glass of Prosecco is provided.

On December 24, Il Poggiolo has extended hours from 11:30 – 8PM and will feature the regular menu and holiday specials. The restaurant is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
