Hosek Park Ice Skating Rink Open In Clarendon Hills

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The outdoor ice skating rink at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Hosek Park officially opened for the season on Thursday. Hosek Park is located near the intersection of Western Avenue and Hudson.

The park district said parents are reminded that the rinks are not supervised, and children enjoying the newly-opened rink should be monitored at all times. The rink will be available for skating until 10 p.m. at night, with "Energy Saver" lights available beginning at dusk with the push of a button. Families are reminded to review all signage at the park before skating.

Regular updates on outdoor ice skating options can be found on the Clarendon Hills Park District's Facebook Page. From time to time, weather factors, ice quality and safety and maintenance issues can require that the rink be temporarily closed.
