Jewelry Stolen In Hinsdale Burglary: Cops

The suspects entered through a back door late in the afternoon, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Jewelry was stolen last week in the burglary of a house in the 600 block of North County Line Road, Hinsdale police said.

The suspects entered through a back door shortly after 4 p.m. Friday, police said.

Fall is traditionally the time when residential burglaries tend to increase, according to the police department. In 2020, the police received 14 such reports. This year, six residential burglaries have been reported.

"We are asking resident to lock their homes when they are away, activate their alarms and contact the police if they observe suspicious persons or vehicles," the police said in a statement.
