La Grange Man Faces Felony Charge In Hinsdale
The resident is accused of driving away from a crash that resulted in injuries, police said.
HINSDALE, IL – A La Grange resident is accused of driving away after causing a crash in Hinsdale that resulted in injuries, police said.
Michael D. Garner, 33, who lives in the 300 block of Bluff Avenue, faces a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury.
About 8 a.m. Nov. 23, police were called to a rollover crash involving four cars near Route 83 and Ogden Avenue, according to a police report.

Witnesses told police that the driver who caused the accident, later identified as Garner, drove away, leaving behind a front bumper and a license plate, police said.
Police called the car owner, who reported her car was stolen to Lyons police.

An arrest warrant for Garner was obtained in late January, police said. He was taken into custody Sunday by Bloomingdale police and taken to the Hinsdale police station.
Garner posted bond on two other arrest warrants in DuPage County, police said. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
