Late Hinsdale Firefighter's Family Drops Lawsuit
Her family alleged she was the victim of discrimination in the fire department.

HINSDALE, IL – A late Hinsdale firefighter's family, which alleged she was the victim of discrimination, dropped its lawsuit against the village late last year.
On Oct. 30, a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit filed by 25-year-old Nicole Hladik's estate, at the family's request. Each side would bear its own legal costs, the judge said.
A spokeswoman for Chicago-based Clifford Law Offices, which represented Hladik's family, declined to comment Friday on the reasons for dropping the lawsuit.
