Lifeguard of the Week at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool

Congratulations to Jack Adams!

The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool sends a "roaring" congratulations to fourth year lifeguard Jack Adams! Jack was recently named the "Lifeguard of the Week" by the pool's management team, in recognition of his professional demeanor, vigilance on the job, service to the community, and dedication in mentoring lifeguards new to the Lions Park complex this year!!! A 2015 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, Jack grew up in Clarendon Hills and is a rising junior at the University of Dayton where he is majoring in marketing with a minor in Spanish. After his summer position ends in August, Jack will head to the University of Madrid where he will participate in a semester long study abroad program. In addition to his lifeguard duties, Jack was also involved in pre-season maintenance activities at the Lions Park complex. He was one of several staff members on duty earlier this month during a routine pool audit, when the lifeguard staff at the Lions Park Pool was awarded an "exceeds standards" rating for their skills and emphasis on safety! Jack has truly made a "splash" in the first few weeks of his summer job! The Lions Park Pool is open between 11:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. seven days per week for recreational swimming. Located at 100 Byrd Court, the pool features a diving well, six lap lanes, a water slide, a bubbler splash pad, an interactive water play feature and a sand play area. Daily admission fees are $8.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills ages 3-59 and $12.00 for non-residents.
