HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale is considering a plan to remove parking meters from its downtown and replace them with a three-hour parking zone.

Under the new system, any retail customer could stay in the same spot for three hours, the village said in a statement.

Those requiring more time would be directed to the village's parking deck or one of the paid parking lots at Washington or Garfield streets, the village said.
