Man Goes 60 MPH Above Hinsdale Limit: Cops
In other cases, two purses were stolen at the Hinsdale hospital, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involves reckless driving, purse thefts, DUI and car burglary. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Reckless driving
- Abdullah K. Hasan, 18, of Orland Park, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of West 55th Street on charges of reckless driving, speeding 60 miles over the limit and failing to signal. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Based on the police department's numbers, Hasan was speeding 95 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Purse thefts

- A patient told police her purse was stolen between 9 a.m. April 18 and 3 p.m. April 20 at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St. She reported unauthorized charges on her credit cards that were stolen with the purse. Another patient reported that her purse was stolen between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday at the hospital. She said an unauthorized charge on her credit card did not go through.
DUIs
- Otoniel Rodriguez, 45, of Crest Hill, was arrested about 4:30 a.m Sunday at County Line Road and 57th Street on charges of DUI and improper parking on the roadway. Police said Rodriguez was seen asleep at the wheel while stopped at the intersection. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A driver was suspected of DUI about 5 a.m. Monday in the 10 block of West Fifth Street. The person was seen improperly stopping and driving off the road. The driver submitted blood and urine samples for testing. Charges are pending the results.
- Richard Leuser, 46, of Berwyn, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of South Elm Street on charges of DUI, failing to give information after striking an unattended vehicle, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving an uninsured vehicle, disobeying a stop sign, failing to signal when required, possessing open alcohol as the driver and driving on the wrong side of the road. Police were called to crashes at Sixth Street, Park Avenue and the 300 block of South Elm Street. Police said Leuser had a container of alcohol. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- Someone entered a car about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 10 block of East Hinsdale Avenue. Nothing appeared to be missing.
