Maundy Thursday Worship is on March 25th at 7pm. This powerful service rich with symbolism and ritual ends our Lenten fast, and invites us to partake in the sacred meal, sometimes called the Lord’s Supper or Last Supper. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin work meaning “mandate” and reminds us of Jesus’ commandment to love others as Jesus loves us. The service enters us into what is called the Paschal Triduum or the Three Days. The service ends with the powerful ritual of the Stripping of the Altar and the Shrouding of the Cross in preparation for Good Friday.
