New Fave Fall Purchase - Henry and Belle Jeans

NEW FAVE FALL PURCHASE – HENRY AND BELLE JEANS

For the past couple of months or so I have been on the hunt for pieces that I can add to my closet that will complement what I already own for fall.  After giving myself a closet audit (Something we all should do every season!), I came to the conclusion that a couple of pairs of jeans needed to go because of holes or I hadn’t worn them in a while.  Since I got rid of three pairs, I allowed myself to scope the boutiques and stores for a new pair.  My usual go-to brands for jeans are usually 7 For all MankindCitizens of Humanity, and Paige Denim.  All of these brands fit my curvaceous backside so I have always stuck with them.  While I was visiting one of my favorite local boutiques,Vintage Charm in LaGrange, IL,  I came across Henry and Belle jeans.  For some reason, I have never heard of this brand.  The saleswoman informed me that they have a lot of give and don’t shrink when you wash and dry them.  I’m used to jeans feeling tight when you first wear them and then they stretch out.  I then want to wash and dry them to get that fitted look again.  This was not the case with my new Henry and Belle jeans.  They feel and fit amazing every time I put them on and I have already washed them several times. They keep their shape all day and feel so comfy.

Being 5’2″, I chose an skinny ankle jean in a light wash called the Lila Skinny Ankle.  This style on me looks like a normal skinny jean and it’s perfect to wear with flats or boots for fall.  No hemming necessary!  Normally I opt for darker colors, but I was attracted to the lighter wash.  Sometimes you need to change it up.  I love that the jeans are mid-rise and don’t give me that muffin top look.

While on that visit to Vintage Charm, I also found a fun Chanel-like blazer by a brand called mystree.  This is blazer that could be worn almost year round because of its mix of black and white.  I plan on wearing the jeans with this blazer and with flats or heels depending on where I’m going.  Another bonus about the blazer is that it was only $82!

I went online to learn more about Henry and Belle and discovered that they are based out of Chicago. I also found out that with every purchase of their jeans a portion is set aside for charitable causes. You can even decide who will receive that portion. There is a purchase code on the jeans which you enter in on their website.  You can then choose where you want the money to go and get updates on the charitable cause you chose.  It’s a win-win for everyone! Being a Chicago Urban Darling Wardrobe Stylist, I realized that this is definitely a match made in heaven.
