Newcomers & Neighbors of the Greater Hinsdale Area Announce Annual Kickoff Luncheon Sept. 15

Newcomers & Neighbors of the Greater Hinsdale Area recently revealed plans for its annual kickoff luncheon. Open to the public, the family-style luncheon will be held Thursday, September 15 at 11:30 at J. Fleming’s Absolutely Delicious, 18 N. Cass Ave. in Westmont. Reservations are required and tickets are available for $25.

“If you have been looking for fun new ways to meet people in the area, Newcomers & Neighbors is a great way to make connections,” said Janet Roxworthy, co-president of the group. “Whether you are new to town or a long-time resident, Newcomers & Neighbors is a club that creates opportunities to get together with people who have similar interests by providing socials, activities, clubs and sports on a regular basis.”

Newcomers & Neighbors welcomes residents of Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills and Westmont. The group offers an array of activities and events. From morning and evening book clubs, Bunco and Girls Night Out to Happy Hour, Euchere and Men’s Poker Night, there are plenty of opportunities to connect, make friends and have fun.
