This Old Fur' - a special Saturday event

Melissa Waters, manager of Hinsdale Furriers, announces a one-day-only sale at “This Old Fur,” located at Hinsdale Furriers, 33 E. First St. Gently used coats and jackets are sold on consignment at extreme discounts, but from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, all used furs are an additional 15 percent off.

In addition, a percentage of proceeds from the sale will be donated to Hinsdale’s Wellness House, for living with cancer.

“If ever a person wanted a fur for the holidays and the winter ahead, this is the day to shop,” Waters said. “Our inventory is excellent, and there are some terrific bargains.”

This Old Fur is celebrating its 13th anniversary of consignment furs. There are more than 250 used furs ranging in size from 2 to 22. In the collection are coats, jackets, strollers, shearlings and leathers, some for as little as $200 and fur accessories begin at $40.

Hinsdale Furriers is in its 63rd year of business. Lines of merchandise include an extensive and exclusive selection of the finest new furs and shearlings. The business also offers customers fur storage, cleaning, repair, remodeling services, and once again - This Old Fur.
