Restaurant Success Prompts Clarendon Hills Changes
The village plans to make temporary adjustments to parking downtown.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills plans to make temporary parking changes downtown because of the success of newer restaurants, a village official said.
In a memo this week, Village Manager Kevin Barr said the village has heard concerns about the availability of parking for short-term retail uses.
The village is focused on the east side of Prospect Avenue next to Clarendon Hills Hardware and Park Avenue next to Brama La Pizza restaurant.

To address the concerns, the village plans to add one 15-minute spot on Prospect and two on Park. The signs will be there temporarily.
Barr said the village staff would report to the Village Board "after a reasonable amount of time."
