Mother's Day Specials Offered at Restaurants in Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills

There are several Mother's Day specials set for Sunday at restaurants in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills.

Scapa will have a Mother's Day brunch buffet Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a dinner buffet from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The brunch buffet will feature classics like spiral-cut ham, Eggs Benedict, salmon limon, and French toast. The dinner buffet will include braised short ribs, chicken parmesan and pesto chicken, among other dishes.

The buffets will be $32 for adults (which includes champagne, mimosa, Bloody Mary, and other beverages) and $12 for kids age 6-12. Kids under 5 eat free.

Zak's place will have a Mother's Day brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The buffet, featuring items like mussels as well as a carving station, will be more lunch-oriented than breakfast-oriented, though bacon will be present.

The buffet will be $35 for adults and $12 for kids. The kids' price includes both food and drink.

Redd Herring will open at 3 p.m. Sunday, one hour earlier than normal, and will offer several steak and seafood specials, including lobster tail, in addition to the normal menu. Moms will receive a free gift (you'll have to go to find out what it is) and kids will receive free cotton candy.

Every mom who dines at Il Poggiolo on Sunday will get a free glass of champagne. Better yet for the mothers out there, kids eat free pasta from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
