Summer Concert Series Returns To Clarendon Hills

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Dancin' in the Street Summer Concerts will return to Clarendon Hills this summer. The concert series will run Wednesdays for seven weeks beginning June 21 and ending Aug. 2. There is no concert July 5, due to Independence Day.

According to the village's website, food and beverages will be available for purchase, and each week will feature different vendors. Food and beverages will be available starting at 6:30 p.m. with music starting at 7 p.m.

The schedule will be:

• June 21, Heartsfield (Southern Rock), Daily Scoop
• June 28, Scramble (Classic Rock), Village Gourmet
• July 12, Frankie B (Local singer/songwriter), Talley’s
• July 19, Spoken Four (Variety), J. Fleming’s Absolutely Delicious
• July 26, Rhythm Rockets (Jazz and Blues Swing), Toasty Cheese Food Truck
• Aug. 2, Libido Funk Circus (Dance, Disco, 60’s through today)

The concert series is organized through the village's special events committee. Prospect Avenue from Park Avenue to the BNSF railroad will be closed to traffic for the event. Parking is available in the Metra commuter lot at Prospect and Ann.

According to the village, the concert series is sponsored by Mike McCurry of Coldwell Banker and Village Veterinary Practice. The beverage beverage tent sponsor is Domino’s.
