On Thanksgiving: Five Seasons Burr Ridge Hosts 'Thank-Spinning' Fundraiser
Open to club members and guests, event to support food pantry is fast becoming a holiday tradition at family-focused sports club

A time for family reunions, plenty of food and giving thanks—these are the hallmarks of Thanksgiving in our nation.
But at Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Burr Ridge, another philanthropic tradition has emerged in recent years: the club’s annual Thank-Spinning event. Held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving, November 27th, the two-hour spin class is for a cause that goes beyond burning calories.
Donations of $15 for club members and $20 for non-members benefit Our Lady of Peace Catholic Parish food pantry in Darien. Individuals may pay by cash or check, made payable to OLP Food Pantry.

Participants will use 26 spin bikes and do not need to spin for the entire two hours. Those who cannot attend the event may also make contributions at the club’s front desk at any time, said Five Seasons Group Exercise Director Kristen Niestrom. Five Seasons Burr Ridge is at 6901 S. Madison.
Thank-Spinning is open to club members as well as members of the public, though space is limited for guests. The club will provide refreshments in its café after the event.
