Theft In Garage, DUI: Hinsdale Cops

A tool worth $700 was stolen from a shared garage, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

DUI

  • George M. Johnson, 39, of Westmont, was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday at 55th Street and Holmes Avenue on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane use. Johnson refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Theft

  • A table saw valued at $700 was stolen between May 20 and May 25 from a shared garage in the 300 block of East Claymoor Road. No signs of forced entry to the garage were seen.

Driving violations

  • Artie A. Galvez, 19, of La Grange Highlands, was cited about 10:30 p.m. May 24 at 55th and Grant streets on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. Galvez was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Dnesha L. McKinney, 24, of Maywood, was cited about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle. McKinney had warrants from DeKalb and Kane counties. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
