I am thrilled to announce that I will be one of three main sponsors of the upcoming Notre Dame Christmas Concert.  Last year this event was well received and I think this year will be even better.  Here is a press release for those that want to attend or volunteer for the event:

The second annual Notre Dame Christmas Concert will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at Notre Dame church at 64 Norfolk Avenue in Clarendon Hills, IL.  The 90 minute Concert will start at 7:30.  The concert promises to provide a festive arrangement of new and traditional Christmas music, featuring the Notre Dame Adult choir, the Notre Dame Children’s choir as well as the St. Ignatius Madrigals and other fun surprises.  The Community is invited; tickets are $10 or $40 for a family.  Tickets are available at the Notre Dame parish office at 630-654-3365.

We're delighted to bring the community together for this great musical event to start the Christmas season off with great joy” said Father Pat Mulcahy, Pastor of Notre Dame parish who is also planning to participate in the concert.

The event is hoping to raise $3,000, with proceeds supporting ongoing activities within the Parish. The hope is that this annual Concert establishes itself as a community-wide “kick-off” to the Holiday season, with plans calling for additional festivities surrounding the concert.

Volunteers are needed for Friday and Saturday set-up.  If interested in supporting or volunteering to help with this year’s event, call Tim Leahy at 630-571-8580 or call the Notre Dame Parish Office at 630-654-3365.
