Wallet Theft, Porch Piracy: Hinsdale Cops
A woman's wallet was stolen while she was visiting a patient at the local hospital, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Wallet theft
- A woman told police that her wallet was stolen while visiting a patient at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St. It was taken between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 12. She said she had been in and out of the room and discovered the wallet was missing the next day. The theft was reported to police four days after the discovery.

- A package valued at $365 was stolen from a porch about 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Fuller Road. A woman suspected of the theft was seen on surveillance video driving a silver sedan. The case is pending.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 200 block of West Center Street told police Friday that someone opened a bank account using the resident's identity.
Fraud

- A person used a victim's credit card without his permission to buy $40 worth of gas and a $90 prepaid gift card about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. The case is pending.
Driving violations
- Jeffrey M. O'Connor, 35, of Bartlett, was cited about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Keiondra S. Brown, 25, of Countryside, was cited about 8 p.m. Saturday at 55th and Grant streets on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, obstructing identification and driving an uninsured vehicle. She was accused of giving false identifying information to police. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Jennifer D. Thompson, 26, of Calumet City, was cited about 5 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Madison Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured vehicle. A passenger, Alexus M. Jackson, 25, of Davenport, Iowa, was arrested on a Rock Island County warrant charging failure to appear in court. Both were released and given dates to appear in court.
