10th Annual Comicopolis Set For July 18

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Council of Arts and White Oak Library District will hold the 10th annual Comicopolis on July 18 in downtown Lockport.

This year's comic and fandom con will feature 60+ artists, writers and vendors, according to the library. There will also be a cosplay costume contest with cash prizes, as well as panels, music, games and more.

Swag bags are available for the first 500 attendees.

Last year's event attracted over 1,500 attendees, the Library said. The all age-ages event is held both inside and outside the library at 121 E. Eighth St.
