15-Year-Old Killed In Crash On I-355: Coroner

WILL COUNTY, IL — A 15-year-old boy died after a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 355, south of 159th Street, on Saturday, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

The teenager was a passenger in a vehicle, the coroner's office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police said officers responded at 1:15 p.m. Saturday to a single-unit crash. Another person was taken to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
