3 DUI Arrests, 51 Seat Belt Tickets During Lockport Labor Day Campaign
Police also issued 28 speeding tickets, and made two suspended/no valid driver's license arrests.
LOCKPORT, IL — During its Labor Day impaired driving campaign, the Lockport Police Department made three DUI arrests, the department shared in a news release.
Police also issued 51 seat belt citations, including seven during nighttime hours.
Other citations and arrests included: 28 speeding tickets, two suspended/no valid driver's license arrests and 69 other moving/equipment citations, according to a release.

The Lockport Police Department joined forces with other law enforcement agencies and partners throughout the state for the Illinois Labor Day "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over/Drive High, Get A DUI" campaign.
The effort was made possible by federal highway safety funds distributed by the Illinois Department of Transportation, the release states.
