$40K Worth Of Boat Motors Stolen, Battery: Homer Glen Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Burglary to motor vehicle

• A wallet was stolen from inside the console of the victim's work truck on Aug. 15 at Bell Road and Liberty Drive. When the victim checked with his bank regarding his debit card, it was discovered that someone had already used it twice at Target in Orland Park and once at an Orland Hills Shell Gas Station.

Battery

• Bryan Wiekert, 32, of Morris, was arrested Aug. 24 in the 15000 block of West 159th Street for battery.

Theft

• Two Minus 3 outdrive boat motors were stolen Aug. 27 in the 13000 block of West Larkspur Drive. The estimated value is $20,000 for each motor.
