Goreham Park Closing For New Playground Construction

HOMER GLEN, IL — Construction will begin on Goreham Park on Aug. 24 for a brand-new playground, the Village of Homer Glen shared.

Crews will install a new play set at the park, and it will be closed during construction "to ensure everyone's safety," the Village said.

The park should reopen in mid-September.

The Homer Glen Village Board approved the playground design and installation in May. The park is located at 14431 S. Pheasant Lane, and will have a see-saw, swings, slides and a variety of play itmes like a leaf seat, climbing structures and a frog slide puzzle.
