Battery, Damage To Property: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

Will County Sheriff's office police reports through Jan. 13.

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Homer Glen

  • A homeowner in the 13000 block of West Deervalley Drive looked out his window at 1:36 a.m. Jan. 12 and saw two or three men, wearing all black clothing, sitting in a car in the street. The homeowner went outside toward the car, and it fled. The homeowner believes the men may have been in the process of stealing from unlocked cars.

Lockport

  • Eric Hamilton, 39, of the 200 block of Nobes Avenue, was arrested Jan. 8 in the 200 block of Nobes and charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer.
  • Ruben Lopez, 49, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 9 in the 3000 block of South State Street and charged with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, transportation of open alcohol, stopping on roadway, obstructing identification and obstructing justice.
  • Alexis Downs, 19, of the 16400 block of West 159th Street, was arrested Jan. 10 in the 16400 block of 159th Street and charged with criminal damage to property.
