Burglaries, Trespass To Vehicle Reported In Homer, Lockport: Cops
In Lockport, two burglaries were reported Saturday night in the Cedar Ridge neighborhood, police said.
HOMER GLEN-LOCKPORT, IL — Two burglaries and one criminal trespass to vehicle were reported over the past few days in Homer Glen and Lockport.
In Lockport, two burglaries were reported Saturday night in the Cedar Ridge neighborhood, police said.
The first, which happened at 10:11 p.m. Saturday, took place in the 15100 block of Austin Drive. According to police, two men entered an open garage and stole a dirt bike and a tool bag.

The second happened at 10:33 p.m. in the 15000 block of Rickert Lane, police said. The same two men from the first incident entered a vehicle parked in an open garage and stole a laptop, according to police.
Police said there was discussion on social media that the men were armed, but they have no reason to believe that is true. Security video did not show the presence of weapons, and a homeowner who confronted the men did not mention a weapon, according to police.

Police said no one was threatened or hurt during the incidents.
In Homer Glen, a criminal trespass to vehicle was reported at 5:30 a.m. Friday in the 14300 block of West Glen Drive, the Will County Sheriff's office said.
Police said security cameras captured a dark-colored Dodge Charger pull up to a home, and a man exited the car wearing gloves and a dark hoodie covering his head.
The man approached the cars in the driveway, opened both car doors, and appeared to search for items to take, police said. The man did not appear to take anything from either car. He got back into the car he arrived in and drove away, police said.
