Car Burglaries, DUI: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Homer Glen
- Someone entered a home in the 16000 block of South Messenger Circle Jan. 21 and stole cash, a stamp collection and a can filled with quarters.
- Elizabeth Sfondeles, 69, of Lemont, was arrested Jan. 22 at Jewel, 14200 S. Bell Road, and charged with retail theft.
- Andrzej Nykaza, 48, of the 13700 block of South King Road, was arrested Jan. 24 in the 14000 block of South Heatherwood Drive and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and DUI.
- Sean Augello, 23, of Lockport, was arrested Jan. 26 in the 15000 block of West 147th Street and charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle.
Lockport
- Someone entered an unlocked car in the 16000 block of West McDonald Drive Jan. 22 and stole a purse, three checks and a backpack.
- Three people were seen breaking out a side window of a car and entering it in the 1200 block of Highland Avenue Jan. 22. The people were also seen in the area with flashlights trying to open vehicle doors.
- Someone entered an unlocked car Jan. 22 in the 15000 block of South Scott Drive and stole a North Face jacket, Gucci sunglasses and a key fob.
- Cartier Collins, 28, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 24 at Conway's Hi-Style, 3226 S. State St., and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of stolen firearm. He was held without bond on an IDOC parole violation.
