Car Burglaries, Tools Stolen: Lockport, Homer Glen Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Homer Glen
- Someone stole $12,000 worth of tools and equipment from a construction site in the 14000 block of South Greystone Drive on June 5.
- Two men were seen entering an unlocked car at 7 a.m. June 10 in the 14000 block of South Stonegate Drive. The car was ransacked, but nothing was stolen. Unlocked cars were also entered in the 13000 block of West Baywood, 14000 block of Sout Appaloosa, 12000 block of West Holm, 12000 block of West Morgan Court and the 12000 block of West Beaver Lake Drive.
- A witness saw a newer, white SUV parked in the 13000 block of West Beaver Lake Drive around 3:21 a.m. She saw a male driver and two men exiting a vehicle in the driveway and two of the men were holding items in their hands. They walked to their car and drove off onto Choctaw Street. The owner of the car was contacted and learned that the men had stolen a digital camera and three purses. While deputies were canvassing the area they found the owner's driver’s license, a pair of sunglasses, one purse, diapers, a baby bottle and makeup that were all stolen from the car. The items were found on Lost Boy Street.
Lockport
- Someone entered a home under construction in the 3500 block of South State Street on June 7. An air compressor, snow blower, Fender guitar, two TVs, four tire rims and a miter saw were stolen from the home.
- Three men in a white van broke into the lawn equipment shed at Fairmont Junior High, 737 Green Garden Place, on June 9. They stole a gas blower, weed trimmers, two riding lawn mowers and a snow blower.
