Car Stolen, Businesses Broken Into: Homer Glen, Lockport Blotter
Homer Glen and Lockport police reports from Will County Sheriff's Office.

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Homer Glen
- Three unknown offenders broke into the business building of Ketelaar Concrete, 14928 W. 159th St., on July 22 but nothing was stolen. The offenders also broke in to Blackhawk Shooting Sports. When the burglar alarm activated the offenders took off, and nothing was stolen.
- An unknown person stole a 2015 BMW from the 16000 block of South Penny Lane on July 24. The vehicle was unlocked, with the keys under the seat. The owner has video surveillance working at the time of the incident. Riverdale Police contacted the Sheriff’s Office a few hours later to inform them that they had located the vehicle in their jurisdiction. No damage was done to the vehicle.
Lockport
Burglary
- An unknown person entered a residence in the 3300 block of South State on July 26 and stole 10 fishing poles, a rifle and a hunting bow.

- An 18-year-old male was using a cellphone app, "Letgo," to sell a Smoke Vape worth $200. He met with a buyer on July 29 in the 300 block of Geissler Drive. The buyer arrived in a Jeep Liberty with four teenagers inside. The victim began talking to the potential buyer and when the victim handed the Smoke Vape over the vehicle sped off before paying the victim.
