Clean Up Heroes Trail In Honor Of Homer Glen Lands Day

HOMER GLEN, IL — To celebrate the annual Homer Glen Lands Day, the Village's Environment Committee will host a clean-up and hike on the Heroes Trail on Sept. 30.

The annual clean-up will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Sept. 30, and check-in is at Culver Park, 14600 S. Parker Road.

Food, water and supplies will be provided, according to the Village. The event is also an opportunity for community service hours. No registration is required for the event.

Homer Glen Lands Day first started in 2002, to be a part of the National Public Lands Day event.
