Coronavirus: Homer Township Fire District Asks For Supplies
Donations can be dropped off at Homer Fire station 1, 16050 S. Cedar.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Several local police and fire departments, including the Homer Township Fire Protection District, are seeking donations of supplies and personal protective equipment to help protect first responders.
The district said on its Facebook page it has received many donations so far, but still needs several items, including:
- Hand sanitizer
- Hand soap
- Medical gloves
- Disinfectant wipes
- N95 wipes
- Homemade and other types of face masks
- Isolation gowns
- Eye protection

The district said donations can be dropped off at Homer Fire station 1, 16050 S. Cedar. Leave donations at the front door and ring the doorbell; employees will bring the donations in after you leave.
Donations will be shared with public safety partners in Homer Glen, the district said.
