County Not Prosecuting Homer Glen Trustee's Battery Charges
Prosecutors will not be pursuing misdeamanor battery charges against Trustee Rose Reynders.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Will County prosecutors will not be prosecuting charges against Homer Glen Trustee Rose Reynders after she was arrested for misdemeanor battery in July following an incident with Village Clerk Christina Neitzke-Troike.
The incident in question involved Reynders entering a meeting Neitzke-Troike was in; starting an argument and ripping up a Village Hall business card and throwing it at Neitzke-Troike.
Reynders has served as a Village Trustee since 2021. Neitzke-Troike previously served as a Trustee, but is currently the Village Clerk for the Village.

Both Reynders and Neitzke-Troike are both running for mayor in the April 2023 local elections.
