Culver's Fundraiser Planned For Lockport Girl In Coma
The Lockport Culver's will be donating 10 to 20 percent of all sales between 4 and 8 p.m. on July 2.

LOCKPORT, IL — A fundraiser will be held to support 4-year-old Gabby Matlak, who remains in a coma after an accident in a pool on June 7. The Culver's in Lockport, located at 15940 S. Farrell Road, will hold a fundraiser on July 2 to help raise funds for the Matlak family.
According to a release from Culver's, Baron Waller, owner and operator of the Culver’s Lockport location, and his employees wanted to do their part to help her family with a fundraiser to boost donations towards Gabby’s recovery.
A GoFundMe created for Gabby has already raised $27,930 of a $50,000 goal. The latest update from the GoFundMe shares that Gabby is still not ready to breathe on her own. She is currently recovering at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago.
