Document Shredding Event Planned In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — The City of Lockport will host a free document shredding event on Oct. 18 at City Hall.

According to the City, the document shredding service will be provided by PROSHRED. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the City Hall west parking lot at 222 E. Ninth St.

PROSHRED shreds all confidential materials on-site using state-of-the-art mobile shredding technology, according to the City. All documents are lifted and dumped into the shredder in a virtually touch-free process.
