Drive-In Movie Planned In Homer Glen
The village, Homer Township Road District and the Dan Kenney Group have partnered to hold a showing of "The Princess Bride."
HOMER GLEN, IL — The village usually holds a Movie Under the Stars event in the summer, but has modified this year's event to a drive-in version. The village, Homer Township Road District and the Dan Kenney Group have partnered to hold a showing of "The Princess Bride."
The drive-in movie will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at the corner of 151st Street and Creme Road (the road district field). This event is free and for Homer Glen residents only. Vehicles will be required to check in at the entrance with their license plate number and name; a maximum of 150 vehicles will be allowed, according to the village website.
Space will be limited, so preregistration is required. You can register online.
