Front Door Of Home Hit By Bullets In Lockport Township: Sheriff
Police found six shell casings in the street in front of the home.
LOCKPORT, IL — A house in Lockport Township was shot at and the front door was shattered by bullets, according to the Will County Sheriff's office police reports. Deputies received a call of shots fired at 11:35 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 200 block of Dellwood Avenue.
According to police, deputies spoke with the homeowners who said they heard about eight gunshots when the glass in their front door was struck and shattered. Police found six shell casings in the street in front of the home.
Police said a witness in the area saw a small, dark-colored SUV leave the scene at a high rate of speed. No one in the home was injured.
