Gas Tank Filled With Sugar, Theft: Homer Glen, Lockport Blotter
Will County Sheriff's Office reports through Dec. 31.

The following information isfrom the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Lockport
- David McCain, 40, of Lemont, was arrested Dec. 31 at West 135th Street and Smith Road for disobeying a stop sign, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane use and DUI.
Homer Glen
- Someone stole hurricane ties and nails from a construction site on Dec. 27 in the 13000 block of West Stonebridge Woods Crossing.
- The victim told police she put her purse down at a table on side of Rubi Agave, 12622 W. 159th St., on Dec. 30. When she returned, her purse was gone. The purse was found on the opposite side of the restaurant underneath a table. $150 was stolen along with her car keys. When the victim went outside, she saw her keys on the ground in the parking lot. Her car had been gone through, but nothing was stolen. Video surveillance showed the suspect who was a Hispanic male with thick glasses and short black hair.
- The victim's gas tank was filled with sugar on Dec. 31 in the 15000 block of South Glen Wood Court. Victim was unsure if the incident happened while he was inside his residence or possibly at work not far from his residence.
