Ground Broken On Springs At Lockport Project
The property is located at the northeast corner of 159th Street and Adelmann Drive.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Springs at Lockport project has broken ground, Continental Properties shared in a news release.
The project was approved by the Lockport City Council earlier this fall, and will offer 320 apartments, with studio, one, two or three bedroom options with private ground-level entrances and attached garage options, according to the developer.
The property is located at the northeast corner of 159th Street and Adelmann Drive.

“We are excited to build a brand-new Springs Apartments community in Lockport,” Heather Riggs, Vice President of Multifamily Operations, said in a release. “Residents will enjoy a resort-style pool, a community clubhouse, a pickleball court, an outdoor grill area, a 24-hour fitness center, and even a leash-free dog park with a pet spa. With Continental's 30-Day Pledge and Above & Beyond resident services, Springs at Lockport is set to join the ranks of over 100 successful Springs-branded communities in Continental’s portfolio.”
Pre-leasing for the property will begin in summer 2024. Move-ins are expected in the fall of 2024, when the first building and the community clubhouse is completed, according to the developer.
