Gun, Ammo Stolen From Car: Homer Glen, Lockport Police Reports

The following information is from the Will County Sheriff's Office. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Lockport
- A 19-year-old male had two male acquaintances at his house in the 1100 block of McCameron around 3:20 a.m. June 9. One of them pulled out a black handgun and told the victim "give me all your (stuff)." The victim refused and a fight began; the victim was struck several times in the head with the handgun. The fight continued through the home and the suspect with the handgun eventually was shoved out the door. Both of the acquaintances left the residence on foot prior to deputies arriving. Lockport Fire transported the victim to Silver Cross with swelling to his face, nose and forehead, and a laceration to the top of his head.
- Ashley Dix, 32, of Joliet, was arrested June 10 at South State and Parkview for DUI, speeding and expired registration.
Homer Glen
- Ali Salem, 40, of the 16100 block of South Stonebridge, was arrested June 6 at 159th Street and South Stonebridge for possession of a controlled substance.
- Connor Bjerke, 24, of the 16100 block of South Syd Creek, was arrested June 7 at Syd Creek and West Lily Lane for DUI and reckless driving.
- The victim said she was having furniture delivered to her home in the 14000 block of South Pheasant Lane from the Roomplace Store. Someone stole her engagement ring that was sitting on a counter. Two workers from the store were the only ones present inside the home at the time of the missing ring.
- An unknown person entered a car June 10 in the 16000 block of South Alissa Court and stole a purse containing $75, an iPod, credit cards, car keys and a change purse. The victim believes the car was locked.
- An unknown person entered an attached garage June 10 in the 17000 block of South Burr Oak Drive. The person stole cash from a box in the garage, and also entered two cars in the garage and stole a purse, driver's license, credit cards and $50. The purse was later found down the street without the items inside which included drivers’ license, $40, credit cards and a set of keys.
- Someone entered a car in the 17000 block of South Meader Road on June 10 and stole a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, work ID and other miscellaneous medical items.
- Someone entered a locked vehicle in the 17000 block of South Parker on June 10 and stole a Gucci cardholder wallet, a driver's license, FOID card, credit card and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. No signs of forced entry was observed by deputies.
- Someone entered a locked car in the 12000 block of West Gunner Court on June 10 and stole a handgun and a bag containing about 95 rounds of 38 special ammunition. No signs of forced entry was observed by deputies.
