HOMER GLEN, IL — In honor of Disability Pride Month, the Village of Homer Glen and the Ability Awareness Committee are holding a community-wide photo contest. The photo contest kicked off Friday, and will run until the end of July.

To enter the contest, community members can submit photos from around Homer Glen that highlight accessibility, the village said. This could also be an invitation for local businesses to show their accessible accommodations.

Each photo equals one entry, and participants can send in as many as they like, the village said. Each photo should include a brief description.
