Homer Glen Plans Kite Festival For May 10

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen will hold its annual Kite Festival on May 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Park.

The spring kick-off event features kites and trick performances from Chicago Kite. You can also bring your own kite and fly.

According to the Village, there will also be games, giveaways, food trucks and music. Wings and Talons (Raptor Education), the Forest Preserve District of Will County and the Homer Glen Junior Woman's Club will also be at the fest.
