Homer’s First Bowling Tournament is a Striking Success

61 Bowlers From 10 Schools Participate

Homer School District 33C hosted its first-ever Bowling Tournament on Tuesday, March 20 at Strike and Spare II in Lockport. The tournament featured 61 bowlers from 10 different schools. All participants bowled three games across different lanes. After all of the 183 games were bowled, scores were added up.

The Homer bowling program took home both first place team trophies and five of the 10 individual medals handed out.

This was the first tournament of the year for the Homer Bowling program. There are several more competitions coming up in the upcoming weeks, including IESA Sectionals and State.
