HomerFest: Live Entertainment, Carnival, Fireworks In Homer Glen

The annual festival will be held June 23-26 at Heritage Park in Homer Glen.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen's annual community festival, HomerFest, will be held June 23-26 at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St. The fest features live music, food, a carnival, fireworks and a beer tent.

The fest begins on June 23, with the carnival open from 3 to 11 p.m. There will also be food vendors, as well as live music. The fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m. If it rains on Thursday, the fireworks show will be postponed to a new day, according to the event website.

On June 24, the carnival will be open from 5 p.m. to midnight, and live entertainment will begin at 4:30 p.m.

June 25 begins with the Homer Township Annual Independence Day parade, followed by the carnival, which is open from noon to midnight. Food vendors and the beer tent open at 2 p.m.

The final day of the fest on June 26 will begin at noon when the carnival opens. Food vendors and the beer tent will open at 2 p.m., and close at 8 p.m. "Chicago Experience" will play in the beer tent starting at 6 p.m.
