Lockport Approves Phase 2 Of Silo Bend Development
The community is located between 163rd and 167th Street, east of Gougar Road, and will be built by M/I Homes.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport City Council approved the final development plans for phase 2 of the Silo Bend subdivision, the Townes of Silo Bend, at its Wednesday meeting.
The community is located between 163rd and 167th Street, east of Gougar Road, and will be built by M/I Homes.
According to council documents, preliminary development plans for the development were approved in October 2020. Silo Bend is being developed in three phases, and Phase 2 calls for the construction of 60 town home units.

Design selections for the town homes will include traditional, craftsman and farmhouse models; and they will be constructed using a combination of vinyl siding and a brick base, according to council documents.
The entire development will have 157 single-family homes and 92 town homes. M/I Homes broke ground on the project in August.
